Hearing Care

Here at Alex Gage Family Optometrists, we are delighted to be working alongside The Hearing Care Partnership to provide hearing services within both of our practices in Crosspool and Woodseats. Clinics are available at our Woodseats practice every Thursday and, at Crosspool, every other Wednesday.

Our fully qualified audiologist will be offering a range of hearing services including FREE hearing tests, hearing aids, ear wax removal, tinnitus consultations and hearing protection.

The Hearing Care Partnership shares the same core values as we do, putting their patients at the heart of everything they do. Working together, we will look after both your vision and hearing to help you keep living life to the full!

Free Hearing Tests

With The Hearing Care Partnership, all hearing tests are completely free of charge, delivered by our caring and professional audiologist. No matter if you are after a quick hearing check or a comprehensive assessment of your hearing, using the latest technology our expert audiologist will conduct several diagnostic tests so that they are able to build a complete picture of your hearing and help you understand more about your hearing health.

Hearing Aids

The Hearing Care Partnership has a wide range of state-of-the-art hearing technology at their disposal, should you be advised by your audiologist that they would benefit your hearing. These days, hearing aids are much more discreet than their bulky predecessors and full of ground-breaking tech which can even link up with your smartphone and other electronic devices.

Ear Wax Removal

We also offer an ear wax removal service which uses the latest and safest methods to remove excess ear wax, including microsuction and irrigation. The removal method used by the audiologist will be determined by your needs, level of wax build-up and any pre-existing conditions you may have.

Tinnitus Consultations

The Hearing Care Partnership offers free tinnitus consultations to help those living with it manage their condition and, most importantly, reduce the impact it has on your daily life.

Hearing Protection

The Hearing Care Partnership’s expert audiologist can help find the right hearing protection for you. Whether you’re after some custom earplugs for general use or have a hobby that requires specialist hearing protection, we have plenty of options available to you.
