Fresh from competing in the ASA Masters competition at Pond’s Forge, Sheffield swimming optometrist Alex Gage is inviting patients old and new to claim free prescription swimming goggles.
Alex said; “Swimming has been very high on the Gage family agenda this week and it seemed an opportune time to give away some goggles. Simply pop into either practice to claim your free pair. If you’re a new patient, you’ll have to commit to an eye examination so that we can determine your prescription. It’s as simple as that!”
Whilst Alex was competing for Chesterfield Swimming Club at the national Masters competition, his wife and assistant swim coach Sarah and talented swimming daughters Emma and Katie were with the Club at a pre season swim camp in Tenerife.
Chesterfield Swimming Club was established in 1983 and is now North Derbyshire’s largest competitive swimming club. Its programme offers a full range of opportunities from Learn to Swim for adults and children of all ages from two upwards all the way through to National level competition for elite swimmers.
Alex Gage is only one of a handful of Optometrists in Yorkshire who has a Diploma in Sports Vision and is qualified to practice sports optometry.
